Packaging

Mojo packages are distributed as Conda packages today. A native package manager is still on the roadmap.

Essentials

• pixi and conda install packages from a channel.
• The community channel is https://repo.prefix.dev/modular-community.
• Pin mojo-compiler to the version your package was built with.
• A package should name its license and a source repository.
• See the package index for libraries other people have published.

Keep in mind

Binary compatibility follows the compiler version. Rebuild when you move between minor releases.
